Production FinTech & Trading Systems

Professional FinTech work: the RTX 5 Web Terminal traders use in the browser, CRM and back-office workflows, trading analytics, and real-time market-data integrations.

The trading terminal is public. CRM, back-office and backend code, internal URLs and system details are private and not shown here.

RTX 5 Web Terminal: market watch with live bid and ask prices, a BTCUSD candlestick chart with one-click sell and buy, and the trade toolbox

Context

The problem

A trading business runs on software that handles real accounts and real money: onboarding and KYC, wallets and transactions, live market data and trading tools. It has to stay correct and available while markets move.

Solution

What I built

I built the frontend of the RTX 5 Web Terminal, a MetaTrader-style trading terminal that runs in the browser. Around it I work across CRM and admin workflows, trading analytics, real-time market data over WebSockets and FIX 4.4, and the production debugging that keeps it running.

Live product

RTX 5 Web Terminal

A MetaTrader-style trading terminal that runs in the browser, with streaming prices and one-click trading. The same frontend also runs as a desktop app.

Engineering

Key engineering work

  • Frontend of the RTX 5 Web Terminal: streaming quotes, candlestick charts from M1 to MN, one-click trading and account panels, connected to the trading backend over WebSockets.
  • CRM functionality for users, trading accounts, KYC, wallets, deposits, withdrawals, transactions and admin workflows.
  • Trading interfaces in React, Next.js and TypeScript: multi-timeframe OHLC charts, symbol switching and live chart updates over WebSockets and FIX 4.4.
  • Trading-journal analytics: win rate, profit factor, expectancy, risk-to-reward, maximum drawdown, reports, CSV export and Monte Carlo simulation.
  • Work across PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, REST APIs, and Rust, C++ and Node.js components in gateway and trading-system integrations.
  • Production debugging: HTTP 429/502 errors, authentication, WebSockets, PostgreSQL, Nginx, gateway connectivity and environment configuration.
  • Investigation of copy-trading execution across the open/close/modify order lifecycle, queues, retries and reconciliation.
  • Security review that led to server-side validation and clear trust boundaries for a client-trusted check.
